Service Description

Choosing to enroll your children in jiu-jitsu involves much more than just a physical activity. There are many concepts worked along with the martial art techniques: respect, discipline, focus, attention, sense of community, self-confidence, independence, and resilience, just to name a few. Jiu-jitsu is also commonly referred to as an exceptional tool to prevent bullying, both from those who suffer and those who are most inclined to practice it. By learning key concepts of respect for differences, equality, diversity, maturity, self-control, and empathy, children apply this knowledge to their life outside the mat in schools and in society as a whole. Want to know what other ways jiu-jitsu can help your child's development? Schedule an experimental lesson with us.
